What is a tooth gem kit?
A tooth gem kit is a complete set to apply tooth gems to your teeth at home: gems, Etch & Bond (tooth gem glue), a UV lamp and all the tools. In the Mix & Match Kit you choose your own gems, or you pick a ready-made kit.
How do you apply a tooth gem yourself?
You clean and dry your tooth, apply Etch and Bond, place the gem and cure it with the UV lamp. Take at least 15 minutes. All the steps are in the instructions.
How long do tooth gems last?
On average a tooth gem stays on for 2 to 3 months. Depending on your teeth, what you eat and how you apply it, that can vary from about 3 weeks to a year or longer. Read more in how long do tooth gems last.
Are tooth gems bad for your teeth?
Not if you apply them properly on a healthy tooth. There is no drilling or grinding and you use a glue made especially for teeth. Read more in are tooth gems bad for your teeth.
How do you remove a tooth gem?
Your tooth gem comes off on its own after a while, or your dentist removes it. We advise against removing it yourself. If you still want to try, it is at your own risk: carefully use a piece of dental floss. Read more in how to remove tooth gems safely.
